Care to participate in an event that promises half the intrigue of the book? This may be for the better since I doubt there is much appeal in a dining experience that promises cannibalism. Submit a request to dine and you may be granted the opportunity to eat alphabet soup and play a scrabble game that will determine to mood of your dinner experience. Or something like that. One of the features of this event is that each dinner is completely different, and a surprise to the diner.
Will it be any good? Not surprisingly, I’m sure if you ask Nguyen he’ll tell you it’s great. The last time I ran into the curator, in the process of describing his work, he informed me, “There is no way you could not like the project.”refering to a past project “It’s that good”. Assuming one isn’t turned off by egoism he may have a point, but not being one of these people I never stopped by. Begrudgingly, I have to admit that many of his projects at least sound interesting.
