I’ve been meaning to list the Hunter College Open Studios for no less than a year now, and thanks to an email reminder from Rachel Ostrow, a participating MFA student I’m finally doing it. Open this Friday from 6-10 and Saturday 3:30 – 6, Hunter provides you with the opportunity to see an array of talent, ranging from the next Chelsea emerging art stars to virtuoso fantasy-fairy artists. It’s an odd mix of art makers, but you get to drink lots of beer, eat goodies, and if you’re lucky flirt a bunch with cute students and/or teachers. Who’s going to say no to that?
Also: Silent Auction Friday night only: 6-9:30 pm, cash & carry. Proceeds benefit MFA Student Organization
