Art Fag City attends Rhizome’s Benefit party at The New Museum tonight in spirit; We’re in Berlin right now, so the commute will be too much for us to make the event. That said, those in New York should certainly pay the museum a visit. Rhizome supports the best emerging and established new media artists working today, and even the smallest contributions ensures their work continues. Rhizome will be honoring the pioneering video artist Dara Birnbaum and Caterina Fake, founder of Flickr. The event should also help fans stalk art world and internet stars in the flesh!
