Berlin faucet culture (as defined by the above photograph alone) makes us happy. For one, our documentation has the rooster vaguely resembling some bizarre form of crucifix. For another, it evokes practically endless cock stroking jokes. As such, we’ll leave it to readers to come up with the best caption for this photograph.
Meanwhile, New York banana graffiti seems to have a greater presence in Berlin. This shot was taken just outside the KW, but the Warhol-esque fruit is everywhere. Perhaps there’s a street art blogger who can identify the jetsetting artist behind these tags. UPDATE: Thanks to Anna Elise Johnson who informs us the graffiti guy is a Cologne based artist named Thomas Baumgärtel. He paints bananas as his endorsement of art spaces.

I did an industrious Berlin faucet GIF & video a few years back.

Yeah, Baumgärtel is famous throughout Europe and has been for some time — doing a kid of Banksy avant lettre, and not as inventive. The Rooster faucet above is most certainly a pun in German. The word for faucet is “Hahn,” which also means rooster.

Endless cock stroking jokes. I highly doubt it.
