If you haven’t seen the post already, Crack Two hosts a collection of 125 Rare Pictures of Famous People, currently making the internet rounds. Unsurprisingly, some of the photographs are pretty interesting. I’ve culled a few of the art related images from the site after the break — aside from the image above, they mostly include Salvidor Dali in some predictably strange situations. By and large, the shots on the site are those of stars when they are younger; Christopher Walken without his shirt, Sean Connery as a body builder, pre-plastic surgery Melanie Griffith, and of course, baby Hitler. I like Sean Penn with a snake down his pants. The one with Marilyn Monroe and JFK isn’t bad either.

Chris Walken! thanks for that. Lately we’ve been enjoying the tap-dance striptease from Pennies from Heaven.

Great post. I think Sean Penn’s got a bagel down his pants, not a snake. No “schmear” jokes, please!

you might already be aware, but to those that aren’t, the marilyn/jfk one is not really them. it is part of a photography project by an artist (whose name i can’t recall at the moment) who “re”-created popular scandals (particularly ones we have no sure proof of) with look-alikes. it was very well-done and interesting

You’ll note that right next to Melanie Griffith is a rather dashing young Don Johnson.

And I believe that is a bagel in Spicoli’s pants, not a snake.
