Contrary to what the right continually promotes, the free market is not the best model for everything. We don't expect the free market to provide our justice system or our national defence. Yes, it is involved, but these social institutions are there for all citizens, not just the wealthy ones. The same is true of health care in Canada, but it is not so in the U.S
