Introducing Guy Forget, AFC’s New Curatorial Fellow

PUT YOUR HANDS BACK ON THE STEERING WHEEL, GUY. A menace behind the wheel, Guy "NO HANDS" Forget, threatens to put pedal to the medal in the photo above during some of his off hours at AFC.

Time to issue a warm welcome to AFC’s new curatorial fellow Guy Forget. For the next few months, Guy will manage AFC’s featured masthead artists and Art Talk, a new feature in which we invite readers to discuss current New York shows. He has also conceived a new ten part project titled, “Forget in Ten Parts”, in which he will curate artworks, images and videos, complete with humorous and insightful commentary. We’ll be making announcements soon about the launch date of that series so stay tuned for that.

In meantime, lets talk bios. I’ve got one for Mr. Forget, and boy have I ever pasted it below.

Guy Forget

Guy Forget has curated a couple shows in his Greenpoint apartment and one in New Haven, CT. For the past year, he has been working on a collaborative novel that was recently scrapped and tentatively restarted as a ten-part novella. He makes art under the pseudonym Kent McGuinness. He grew up in Allentown, PA.

I was wondering why you were writing about the French Davis Cup captain.
