- The Rose Art Museum seems to be getting on track. Three years ago the museum announced that it was in such dire straits that it needed to sell off its art collection—or fire most of its staff. During this time, the museum has been without a permanent Director, but now they’ve hired Christopher Bedford. He’s leaving his position as Chief Curator at the Wexner Center for the Arts, where over the past four years he has helped bring exhibitions of Mark Bradford, Omar Fast, and Cyprien Gaillard to the Ohio State campus. Over 167 comments on the Chuck Close brouha. I love the uselessness of art and even more so the discussion. Just like I love listening to sports talk. Not because I’m a huge fan of sports but because people can find it an endless topic to talk about.
Sports talk/Art talk… It’s all entertainment at this point.
