MOCAtv to Debut Sketch-Comedy and Art Show, Starring Fred Armisen and Jack Black

Alert: Fred Armisen of Portlandia and Saturday Night Live fame is going to make more art jokes!

MOCAtv (the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art’s YouTube channel) has swooped in with Ambiance Man, a sketch-comedy show with “subversive artistic commentary.” Oooohhhh??? The series also features Jack Black, best-known as a wild employee at an indie-record shop (High Fidelity) and as a Kung Fu Panda (Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2), but whatever—if if the show ends up with any moments nearly as good as Portlandia’s “This Is an Art Project,” we’re down.

It drops on Friday, December 20th.

Content is KING!!! All hail the content makers!!!! How much love do distributers and sales-people deserve in today’s digital climate? Depends on wether or not the artists are desperate enough to sign an exclusivity contract.
