“Gone”
I stumbled upon this above GIF by Clara Luzian today after reading Irena Jurek’s excellent interview with Eric Mistretta, all about existential angst and waiting rooms, among other topics.
I ended up poking around Luzian’s Tumblr, Render Fruit, which is full of kinda-creepy, often funny, #vaporwave -esque animations about surreal modern dilemas. I love the idea that our digital files are a burden, as suggested in “Sisyphus” and the dismembered “live long and prosper” hand in “Broken Apart (but) Gently Responding.” These are but a few of the dozens of GIFs with “GIF of the Day” potential on Render Fruit.
