The moment you’ve been waiting for has arrived: the revolution has begun. There’s hope on the horizon for independent voices, artist-run spaces, and emerging artists. Corrupt institutions, the forces of art-world-evil, and counter-revolutionary art press face a new challenge to their regime: our Fall Fundraiser is live.
Help us liberate you.

THE YEAR: 2015. Museum funding is dominated by oil companies and rapists. Commercial galleries are overrun by unwashed hordes of celebrity-driven exhibitions, and universities are giving out honorary doctorates to these same people. Rampant gentrification has caused artist-run galleries to Escape From New York.
But on the road toward this dystopian future, there is hope. October 6th, we launch the resistance: The Art F City Fall Fundraiser for Independence. Today, we ask for your early support. Your donations help us get this party started!
Say hello to Mr. August. For the Art F City 2015 Panda-Themed Calendar of Artists in the Nude, Rachel Stern created a campy, classical take with her model, artist Rollin Leonard. For a $250 donation, this print can be yours.
ACRE, a summer residency held in Steuben, Wisconsin with an ongoing series of exhibitions in Chicago, Illinois, will move into a permanent space this September, to 1345 West 19th Street in the Pilsen neighborhood.
Art F City’s 10th birthday has finally arrived. We’re celebrating TONIGHT at Lightbox (339 West 38th Street, 6:30-10:00 p.m.) by throwing a party to remember, our 10th Anniversary Power Women benefit and live auction.
Sometimes great things just sorta happen. But if Ferris Bueller taught us anything, it’s that sometimes, you get the opportunity to make great things happen. Our experiences for auction are four different versions of the perfect day, so whether you prefer a country getaway or a film sesh with a documentary crew, here’s your chance to make Ferris proud.
What does it mean to be a Power Woman? In this auction benefit for Art F City it means you’re bad ass: You make great art and have been doing since forever. You’re an influential powerhouse within the art community. You are deserving of recognition for the work you do. In short, you are nothing less than amazing.
In honor of AFC’s upcoming Power Women 10th Anniversary Benefit, we’re sharing ten artworks for auction by ten power women. You’ve got four days to bid. Better get to that.
