- Just scrolling through the lots at Sotheby’s Day Auction, it’s remarkable seeing older works by auction-stalwarts like Richard Prince and Wolfgang Tillmans side-by-side with works that are obviously too young for the market. Angel Otero, a 2009 graduate from the Art Institute of Chicago, has a three-year-old painting for sale; Oscar Murillo has a two-year-old drawing up for grabs; and of course, the Parker Ito painting that’s also just two-years old.
