As noted in Bloomberg recently, the socialite has an impressive collection of contemporary art, including works by John Baldessari, Dan Colen, Christopher Wool, and many others. But now that the Trump family’s abhorrent politics have been made glaringly clear, many dealers and artists are facing “seller’s remorse.”

Wow! The 16-mile Brooklyn-Queens waterfront streetcar plan is actually moving forward with the de Blasio administration. The downside: it will likely take nearly a decade (who are we kidding? Probably longer), there’s no mention of it being separated from traffic (otherwise it’ll be worse than a bus), and it’s expected to pay for itself with property value increases (meaning the people most in need of better inter-borough transit will likely be priced out of the neighborhoods it benefits). Because I have but two interests, art and Game of Thrones: Last night, while watching artist Phil Collins’s film Tomorrow Is Always Too Long, I noticed that actress Kate Dickie, who plays Lysa Arryn in GoT, also features in the art film. In Dickie’s role as a TV psychic, she gives one of the strangest, most powerful monologues in the film—I highly recommend seeing it. There’s only one more screening at MoMA this week, today. Pee-wee Herman is still very much around to fulfill your childhood dreams, or nightmares. Judd Apatow will produce a new Pee-wee Herman film, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, a Netflix-only release. Production will begin in three weeks. [Pee-wee.com]
