Nicole Nadeau, a graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design, may have some potential albeit limited. Her design collective KNS turns out some sentimental stuff that at least attempts thoughtfulness, like these Spooning Male + Female cups and Platetectonics

Nicole is also hooked up: her aunt is Real Housewives of NYC’s Countess Luann deLesseps,. I guess we can’t totally blame her FB praise of deLesseps’ new song on plain awful taste.

Overall, she's got some cred, though she's situated more in the design world than she is fine art. Besides KNS, her work has been at Elemental Gallery at Art Basel Miami, Felissimo Gallery, X-Initiaitve, Heller Gallery, and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. She's also creating a line for Ralph Lauren Home. Her quirky home designs and nature-inspired jewelry make her the odd one out, and it's not clear how her style will translate on the show. If her abstract reclining nude Google Self Portrait from this clip is any indication, it’ll be a total bust.

Her tableclothes wound up on an episode of the Real Housewives of NYC. Hmmm, how did that happen? Nicole also had a small role in the movie A New Wave with John Krasinski. Although the film was no biggie, those acting chops might come in handy for playing the part of the hip artist.

She’s the girl that “starts random dance parties at dive bars” who plays down her connections and plays up her free-spiritedness. Who knows how far she’ll go.

That girl who starts random dance parties at dive bars.
