Neil Rough captures the idiosyncratic. Frequently this takes the form of a peculiarity or eccentricity, though, as demonstrated in our masthead, it is also the specificity found in a glowing motel sign at the side of the road. Rough connects with people, places and things. His photography is a document of that process.
