Some good news for collectors who either missed out or couldn’t afford Mitch Epstein’s photographs at Sikkema Jenkins in 2007: WFMU will be holding an art benefit show at Printed Matter from December 6th to December 13th and his work will be available for sale.  I reviewed Epstein’s exhibition quite positively on AFC in 2007, as did Modern Art Notes’, Tyler Green, so I’m happy I will another chance to talk about that series.   Speaking of good work, it seems like there’s going to be a lot of very desirable material available, so this might be a fundraiser to keep an eye on.  WFMU’s Doron was kind enough to send over a number of images to give Art Fag City readers a sneak preview.   Those images below, and a note to those who will be at Art Basel Miami and New Orleans Prospect 1 during the time of the benefit:  work will be available for purchase online as well. (The site goes live December 6th.)
