I’m worried about this exhibition of sci-fi ipod people — the work looks cheesy even if the press release insists its not because the process of making the work is complicated and involves projections, aluminum foil and pinholes. Bucklow got his start as a conceptual sculptor in the mid-nineties, inserting his un-natural plant form sculptures in natural environments. Apparently he’s moved on.
