It’s not too much surprise the bookmarking service is being shut down — Yahoo took a year to redesign it, did so poorly, and then put no resources into further development. This is why they lost so many users to tumblr.The closure points to one of the ongoing concerns of the internet, that being that someone else typically decides the value of your use. I have over 4 years of bookmarks on del.icio.us, and I want to keep all those links. Is there an easy way to port them elsewhere? Update: Pinboard!
