Art historian Paul Koudounaris has travelled all over Europe taking photos of the “Catacomb Saints,” skeletons of Christian martyrs that were found in the catacombs in the late 1500s, dressed up, and shipped out to various European churches to show people what happens if you join Christianity. You get bejazzled!
