“Yes, I can confirm that I’ve moved over to ARTnews. My first day is today,” Andrew Russeth, former editor of Gallerist told us today over email. Russeth’s just one of many art critics who’ve been hopping from one online publication to another. As announced earlier this month, Sarah Douglas took over the role of editor-in-chief at ARTnews; she moves over from Gallerist, which she helped found in just 2011. In her new position, Douglas has scooped up her old crew, both Russeth and Gallerist writer Dan Duray. It’s not just ARTnews that’s seemingly undergoing a major revamp; artnet News relaunched earlier this year, recruiting much of the old Artinfo staff (Ben Davis, Benjamin Sutton, Rozalia Jovanovic) and the Village Voice’s Christian Viveros-Fauné.

Gallerist has not yet announced any replacements.
