This GIF [h/t Dezeen] comes from animators Mrzyk & Moriceau’s music video “Subways” for the band The Avalanches. The psychedelic video is a bit like an urban version of “Yellow Submarine”, and took just over a month to make. Dezeen describes the above as a “cast of surreal commuters.” That’s probably because Dezeen is based in London and not New York, where trains get stranded on the bridge because of incidents like women pretending to be deranged homeless people throwing crickets on riders and pissing themselves to raise awareness of …something?
