Santa Clara County Coroner's Office released painter Thomas Kinkade's autopsy results this morning. They offer little surprises. The findings state that Kinkade suffered from an “accidental” and “acute ethanol and Diazepam intoxication” (in layman's terms, Kinkade drank too much while taking Valium). As widely reported, the painter had battled alcoholism for years.
