Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum Launches Some Design Thing

by Art Fag City on August 21, 2006 Events

Pull out your palm pilots art snobs, because The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum just announced it will launch its first ever National Design Week October 15th – 21st, and you’ll want that highlighted in your latest planner. During this time there will be free admission to the great museum and in addition to a number of free programs that will run throughout the week, the National Design Awards Gala will be held October 18th. This is an event truly worth watching, if for no other reason than it will improve your presentation skills. After all, surely there is no quicker death to an art professional than not having a grasp on, oh, you know, aesthetics.
