This week appraisers weep with joy, because their job just got a whole lot easier. Artnet announced yesterday that they have expanded their price database to include 20th century design which means a lot less scouring of the web for obscure furniture prices on auction message boards, for all involved. As annoying as this sort of activity is, I am compelled to point out that I wrote about this being a good idea 8 months ago. Remember you literally did hear it here first. For once anyway.
