From a top rated artist at MyArtInfo. Juba and Jolly – Cheetah boys.
ArtInfo launches its newest online product for artists; a social networking site and gallery titled myartinfo. Like everything else that publishing company has a hand in, it already sucks. How it it this fine art site couldn’t find a few reasonably serious artists to upload their work before advertising it’s launch? Even if we are to consider Cheetah art seriously, the painter’s ability to caption keeps in line with the other top rated artists, the works missing relevant listing information such as the date it was executed. Notably, searching the database for art will be a pain in the ass on this site, since each artist seems to use their face as a profile picture. Once you click through to the artist, the site disables the back button functionality so short of clicking on the header a user can’t get back to the home page. I can’t think of a single reason a serious artist would want to join this network.

lol, i like how everyone uses their own face as a profile pic. now you can judge peoples work solely by how good looking they are. this reminds me of the saatchi gallery’s social site except worse.

that is really hokey. is it possible that they prefer you to use an image of yourself? maybe i’m giving the artists too much credit… liv
