I know loyalty makes these words read like blasphemy to any one who’s been through the Artist in the Marketplace program at the Bronx Museum, but I’m really not a fan professional development director’s corporate friendly art, Jackie Battenfield. But, I don’t have to be. She’s a reasonably successful artist (as defined by the market place) and probably the most well known and respected artist career coach in the city. Which is to say, if you’re an emerging artist and have not yet seen Ms. Battenfield speak, you owe it to yourself to attend Nurtureart’s next Muse Fuse Wednesday September 10th. The talk will take place at 7 pm, 229 Leonard Street in Williamsburg.
