This is great. My favorite blurb describes ArtForum’s Dash Snow coverage:
“The editors at the country's premier fine arts/high arts magazine seem like they could care less, really, about Dash Snow—for now, anyway; their coverage of his passing amounts to a two paragraph blog post that relates the basics of the story (heroin, NY Mag profile, collage, Saatchi) and little else. More important things are happening in the art world, apparently”¦”

I liked the collages he made. And it’s of course a sad story. But what should the coverage be? There’s the suggestion by this blurb that Artforum is remiss in their reportage. I imagine there will be more attention paid, and far be it from me to defend Artforum, but it would be a shame if the untimely passing of Dash Snow were to become a media event.

It already has.
It already has.
