Whitney Website Redesign | Plog
This seems conflict of interest-y: The New Museum’s developer Perry Garvin pans the Whitney’s website in a post without disclosing his contract (it’s on the site just not the post). Philip Bump at Mediate (the link below) offers a more balanced opinion.

Re the conflict of interest you allude to, I think you can see that Perry has reviewed other institutional sites in the past, and has been supportive. (See his reviews of SFMOMA.org and the Hammer.) For the most part, I reluctantly agree with his assessment of this effort, which is truly stillborn. I’m frankly surprised that a museum that deals with contemporary art (and by extension, technology and digital culture) would release such an inferior product to the public.
