regarding vintage cars and the cities they live in:
its great that in the nyc auto world, vintage usually remains vintage–in the ‘found-it-at-the-goodwill’ sense.
in a vehicle-driven city like LA, vintage has more chance of having a ‘bought-it-at-the-vintage-store’ feel.

i live in the hood and recognize a few of those cars. wouldn’t think of the Volvo and the newer Mercedes as vintage…just run of the mill older european cars.

This is great. i love it! there is a really cool 66 or 7 ford fairlane always parked on clinton ave with the side smashed in that i wished could have made the cut
