View 2010 NYC Art Fairs in a larger map
It’s official: There’s too much to do in this city right now. Let’s do a quick run down: the Whitney Biennial, the New Museum’s Skinned Fruit exhibition opening, the Bruciennial, the ADAA and the Armory art fairs, plus the five hundred other auxiliary fairs (8 more for a total of 10). I haven’t even mentioned all the events and talks running in tandem with the fairs.
Reliably the fine folks over at Jen Bekman Projects have created an embeddable New York art fair map complete with their own various activities throughout the city. It lists all the fairs (but for Verge, Red Dot and Pool), plus the locations of a few museums and larger galleries. We’ll be providing a list of events in the next day or two; look forward to marking your calendars with additional shit to see and do. And to the self professed booze hounds in the crowd — I’m sure there’s a party or two we can list where the champagne flows free of charge.
