Did you have any idea that Information Society was from Minneapolis and not England? I sure didn’t. Alas, this was the US response to the UK’s Flock of Seagulls and Culture Club, and their hit was about five years too late.

Their video makes this week’s Best Link Ever! voting list purely because I haven’t been able to get this song out of my head for, like, twenty-two years. Also, this video manages to look like it could have been made yesterday. In a loft somewhere in Bushwick.

Here is a guy who has made nearly 800 videos on youtube, in most of which he just microwaves things. It’s like burning man, but in your kitchen. (Do not try this at home).
