In reproduction, Hannah Wilke’s early drawings have a few aesthetic similarities to those of Phillip Guston. The color palette, the weird forms, even the mark-making seems sympathetic. This exhibition showcases art made in the 60’s and 70’s, though she worked up until her death in 1993 of lymphoma at the age of 53.
