Our new masthead, slightly cropped - click through (or look up) for the full version!

You may have seen our post last week on the work of artist Laura Brothers (out4pizza). If you did, you’ll understand how excited we are to present her custom-made masthead for Art Fag City. Brace yourself!

Laura Brothers was born in Ithaca, New York in 1982 and received her B.A. in Art History from the University of Rochester in 2004.  She is a visual artist who probes the marriage of signified organic forms and the default geometries of the computer’s pixel.  Her work, which is primarily displayed over the internet, is born-on and bound-to the computer, but has recently expanded into the material realm through printed publications (Beautiful Decay:Book 1, Collection Revue:DeuxThis Is a Magazine:Compendium 6) and group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Baltimore, New York, Berlin and Munich.
