- The MTA came out with an app that lets you track subway art on your smartphone. This sounds great until you realize that it’s useless because most subway stations lack cellphone reception. [ANIMAL]
- The Andy Warhol Museum announced its new curator. USA Today thinks it’s a big deal that he’s Australian. [USA Today]
- Time to throw a party for Kaspar König! The 68-year-old German curator is retiring after a long career-which began at the age of 23, when he put on one of Claes Oldenburg’s first museum solo shows. [frieze d/e]
