Artist Emily Silver's 2-D design students at the Santa Monica College have made a Panda (among other inflatable objects).
Color Wheel is a series in which we identify a trending color in art for the week and post a daily image that illustrates its popularity. In honor of PandaCam, this week’s color is black and white. Readers are invited to send us images they have on hand so long as they match the profiled colors and we’ll post the best ones we receive.
We weren’t given too much information about this inflatable panda past it being a student project in Emily Silver‘s 2-D design class at Santa Monica College, but then how much do we need to justify putting AN INFLATABLE PANDA ON THE BLOG? In the wake of the National Zoo’s dark Pandacam, we need all the panda we can get.
