Color Wheel is a series in which we identify a trending color in art, and post a daily image that illustrates its popularity. In advance of the Sochi Winter Olympics, we’re going to play good patriots and explore red, white, and blue.
Tomorrow is gonna be a great day for art nerds! Former MOCA curator Paul Schimmel will showcase his chops at Hauser & Wirth on 18th where he’s curating Re-View, an exhibition of works by German dealer and collector Reinhard Onnasch. This is his debutante ball, where he steps out into his new life as a commercial partner (and curator) with Hauser & Wirth. (Slated for 2015, he’s opening a gallery in Los Angeles with the H and the W.) This’ll be an exhibition to watch; with the line between commercial and non-profits becoming thinner and thinner, we bet this one will make it seem like there’s no difference at all.
