This GIF is attributed to Nick Briz, but mostly it belongs to the Internet. Animated GIF star backgrounds have been used since the mid-90‘s both for their beauty and their ability to convey the idea of exploration of space. In Briz’s piece for The Wrong biennale last year he offers, in one frame, a modest update to the iconography; cursor responsiveness. That single page isn’t a GIF of course, but given its inspiration, it seemed appropriate to highlight here.
