Do you know what GIFs are missing? Feelings. Emotions. Sincerity. I mean, I like funny cats and all, but sometimes my brain needs more, and so does my heart. They get that with this GIF by Joseph Yølk Chiocchi.
First off, you need to look at this GIF on Patterns Are My Feelings. Spread out as a wallpaper, each one melts into another.
Now whether you’re looking at this on AFC or on Patterns Are My Feelings, one thing rings true: it’s difficult to tell what’s going on.
Is it pornographic? Could be. My favorite answer so far is that it’s a zoomed-in, blurred-out video of someone’s face squeezed between a pair of ass cheeks. I imagine it could’ve been shot during wartime, accounting for the video’s unbearable graininess. Maybe it’s not war porn, but there’s too many abstract associations here to not come up with some strange stories about it.
But as for the “real” meaning, you’ve got to look to the title: “The only thing I have left now is the shitty picture of you in my wallet from the one day you said I made you the happiest and we played with projectors in the basement. I just want to be forgotten. I wish I could have made…”
Whatever that’s about, it sounds pretty sincere to me.

You guys actually gave credit to the wrong artist. This is done by Joseph Chiocchi, who’s website is yolk.cc
Ack – you’re right! Correction made.
Sorry! I was super tired when I wrote that. Just one of those days.
