There’s probably no GIF more famous than the Character Studio sample animation “Dancing Baby“—arguably the young internet’s first meme, and certainly the only one to be immortalized with its own episode of Ally McBeal.
What better file to use for experiments in GIF deconstruction and glitching? Benjamin Berg (AKA stAllio!) has been using the stock animation as a demonstration for how files can be corrupted. Some of the results are pretty abstract. The dancing baby is just 20 years old, and already starting to wrinkle and crack!
