Of all the “me at the beginning of 2016 v.s. me at the end of 2016” memes, this one nails it. I’m not sure who made it, but I feel this on a really deep level. I myself spent all of November 9th watching the Alien movies and crying with friends. (Aside: doesn’t Mike Pence remind you of the human/alien hybrid from Alien Resurrection that Ripley blows into the vacuum of space?)
