No pressure, but artist Lee Walton’s set up a time to attempt just this. The deets:
On Saturday, August 28th precisely at Noon, a professional camera crew will be filming the surface of the eastern base of the Washington Square Arch monument. The camera will record for five minutes. Anything recorded will be uploaded to the internet and shared with the world. The 5-minute video will also be archived and viewable on this site for eternity.
Man Bartlett, you’re up. This five minute window might throw a wrench in his usual 24-hour live performances broadcasted over Twitter. But we’re sure he can handle it. Bartlett, what will you do to seize everything you’ve ever wanted and can you live with the results? Walton’s promising eternity!
