White Columns imports some activism. Originally presented at the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard University, this worthy exhibition put together by curators Helen Molesworth and Claire Grace, traces the history of ACT UP, a pivotal AIDS activism group in the late 1980’s, through its printed and visual media. It will also premiere the ACT UP Oral History Project, a compilation of 100 interviews of surviving members.
