Art Fag City Wins Village Voice Web Award for The Second Year Running

Good news! Art Fag City won the Village Voice Web Award for Best Art Blog last night night for the second year running. We’re in good company: Deadspin nailed Best Sports Blog, Chowhound got Best Food Blog, and Alec fucking Baldwin left with Best Personal Twitter. There was some letdown with this last awardee; Baldwin deleted his account yesterday and could not attend the awards as he was on route to the West Coast with a Wall Street Journal reporter. Still, we too missed the ceremony, and we weren’t even stuck in a car [And also aren’t Alec fucking Baldwin -Ed.]. Looks like a republishing of our post last year is in order;

Totally stoked I won, really embarrassed I WASN'T THERE [Part two]. I know this is the web version of the unprepared Oscar acceptance speech, but it never occurred to me that I would win so I stayed at home to work.
