- Julia Halperin reports that the New Museum will be transforming the warehouse next to them into an “incubator” for art, design and technology. Associate Director Massimiliano Gioni says the project is an extension of the New Museum’s interest in “developing new formats for the distribution of knowledge.” That’s perhaps overstating a real estate venture, but whatever it is, the museum’s got a new revenue stream, and that’s likely a good thing.
