- Brooklynites are getting their way, kinda. The Brooklyn Flea, a summer-only craft fair—or as I prefer to call it, Etsy Live!—won’t be returning to Williamsburg this year after locals have complained that they never get to enjoy their parks during the summer, as it’s full of tents, booze, and crocheters. Does anyone else think all these media stunts by the pope are incredibly disingenuous? Shouldn’t he be spending every second begging for forgiveness? Talking about their pedophile problem and how they’re fixing it? Instead of trying to convince us of how humble and noble he is? How virtuous the church is?
Hell I’m not surprised everyone is buying it. Hey AFC, you’re in the journalism realm…find out how many congressional hearings were held on pedophile priests vs. the MLB stereroid scandal.
