VIP Fair Visitors Complaining of Gallery Spam

The VIP spamming begins. Last week Art Review noted the privacy settings on the VIP website were set by default to reveal user emails to participating galleries. Now, less than five days later, an annoyed user writes to me to complain that Lia Rumma gallery not only used emails they collected from VIP visitors to spam their inbox, but failed to use the BCC function. Most galleries will not do this because it’s bad business. Don’t have your company described this way. Don’t spam people.
