It’s true. I promised to provide balloon animals at The Hyperallergic 6-month Anniversary and Launch Party and I failed to deliver. Instead I provided a YouTube screening of art music videos that have appeared on the blog over years. Several attendees, including performance artist Nate Hill were not impressed. Not that the screening wasn’t awesome — it was — but who am I to ignore the requests of readers? Balloon animal stand it is next time!

In the meantime, let me take a minute to co-op Hyperallergic’s thank-you sponsor list, as we share many of the same clients. AFC would like to thank Vartali, Gallery Diet, Atelier 4, Independent Collectors Momenta Art, Tyler School of Art, and our upcoming sponsors the Escape From New York exhibition and Hunter MFA Thesis Exhibition. I would also like to personally thank my office mates, publisher Veken Gueyikian and Hyperallergic editor Hrag Vartanian, both of whom couldn’t be better collaborators!
