Say good-bye to the next hour of your life. Thursday’s Art Fag City Rob Pruitt Art Awards and Auction* at Site/109 was a screaming success and we’ve got just under a hundred pictures to prove it. In addition, those who couldn’t make it to the event (or just can’t get enough of us), can read all about the AFCRPAAaA* at Capital, The Art Market Monitor, Hyperallergic and Argot & Ochre. ArtINFO didn’t write us up in the end, but attended the event with their own award in tow: The ArtINFO Rob Pruitt Award for Best Art Blog. Art Fag City nabbed that one. Thanks to Benjamin Sutton, Ben Davis, and Kyle Chayka for bestowing that thoughtful award AND book/trophy. We’ll be quoting from Bals for the next year, I’m sure.
