Blogging takes a lot more courage than you’d think. Last year, AFC staff posed naked for the Art F City Nude Artists as Panda Calendar. This year, we’re working out in glitter leotards to prepare for the AFC 10th Anniversary Benefit. It takes place April 13th at Lightbox (6:30 – 10:00), so we’re one week out from the benefit. Folks, it’s time to get in shape!
This is important, because let’s be clear: this thing is going to be off the hook. Laurie Anderson will speak (yeah, that Laurie Anderson). The vaudevillian rockers known as the Elephant Room will perform magic. The legendary CK Swett will auctioneer (bid now at Paddle8). And all of this supports Art F City, New York’s favorite independent art blog.
So, get a ticket, bid on some art, and meet us at the party. There will be cake.
